ROWAN WALLACE
FLOOR RUNNER AND CAMERA TRAINEE 

I am a freelance filmmaker based in Bristol ,UK.

 

I have recently graduated with honours (First Class) from a three years at Bristol Film School with boomsatsuma's  BA (Hons) Filmmaking production degree course based a in Bristol. 

Boomsatsuma university has allowed me to discover a wide range of roles in the Film and TV industry from creating multiple short film where I have been able to adopt multiple role to help find a role I enjoy doing and is best suited to me.
Bristol Film School has been able to provide me with lots of opportunities for me to do while studding to be able to get work experience and meet people in the industry to make connections, this has since allow me to get my foot in the door and get a job as a freelance Floor Runner with Happy Hour Productions.

That is something which has made a big impact for me, as since the first year I found myself getting multiple jobs as a runner and marshal working on both feature and TV commercials. Through work experience I has been able to move into the pathway of working as a Camera Assistant and now I am in the possess of finding out more about this role and currently while I have been able to get work as a AC and Clapper Loader on indie and corporate films. 
 

During the summer of 2023 I was able to join casting agency's which allow me to get jobs working on set as a supporting artist / Body double on TV shows and Feature Films, further allowing me to experience what it is like being on a professional high end film / TV show set.
