ROWAN WALLACE
FLOOR RUNNER AND CAMERA TRAINEE 

Rowan Wallace is a filmmaker student based in Bristol ,UK.

 

Studying for three years at  Boomsatsuma's Film School  BA ( Hons ) Filmmaking production degree course based a in Bristol. This course works with big industry partners such as BBC HNU, The Bottle Yard Studios, Films@59, VI Rental and Evolutions films.  From this course Rowan has been able to gain new skills and knowledge with up to date equipment as well as speaking directly with industry professionals to understand their background of how they got to where they are now.

Boomsatuma university has allowed Rowan to discover a wide range of roles in the Film and TV industry from creating multiple short film where he has been able to adopt the role of : Boom op, Editor, BTS Videographer, Camera op, 2nd AC, production manger and script writer.
In amongst all of this the university are always teaching about how to write and work professionally order to help students get employment on graduation.
That is something which has made a big impact on him, as since the first year he found himself getting multiple paid jobs as a runner and marshal working on both feature and TV commercials shoots which have since aired on TV. Though work experience he has been able to move into the pathway of working as a Camera Assistant and he is now in the possess of finding out more about this role and currently working as a freelance in Floor running and camera assiating in whcih he is also able to provvide his own personis also working as a freelance Souporting is he is also working as a freelance Souporting Artist  fshoots provide his own AC equipment to mautiple shoots  

 

While he owns and operates a LumixFZ330 for photography and BTS videography use, he has also been able to collect a range of production equipment from customisable slates to camera rigs which are available for hire to help assist production shoots.
